Bertech ESD Soldering Mat Kits contain two layers, with the top layer being a blue, static dissipative rubber layer laminated to a black conductive rubber bottom layer. These kits, with a thickness of .060 inches, offer excellent resistance to oil, grease, and most common solvents. They are lightweight in comparison to both single layer and three-layer mats.

Each kit includes an ESD mat, a common point ground cord, and an adjustable fabric wrist strap with a removable alligator clip. They are RoHS and REACH compliant. The surface resistivity ranges from 8 x 10e6-8 ohms for resistance-to-ground and 2 x 10e6-8 ohms for point-to-point resistance.

The ESD soldering mat in the kit is made from ESD Safe Two Layer Rubber material, comprising a blue rubber top layer and a black bottom rubber layer. The thickness of the mat is 0.060 inches with a variation of +/- 10%; equivalent to 1/16 inches.
